- Is the vest complicated to use?
Not at all.
Customers also receive a QuickStart Poster with their package.
You can also reference the QuickStart videos to help get started. We’ll be adding a lot more information in the near future!
Keep in mind that once you find particular setups you like, you’ll always be able to use that same setup and you’ll have that in your arsenal of workout tools!
- Is it comfortable?
Yes, at least compared to having a barbell pressing into your body!
You can also adjust the tightness of the vest to keep it snug, as well as experiment with using different loop/anchor points where you connect your carabiners, as well as changing the direction you run and loop your bands. The vest allows numerous ways to do practically every exercise, so if one configuration isn’t comfortable, you can experiment with different methods.
Keep in mind, once you figure out the particular configuration that you like best for a given exercise, you can always use that same setup.
- How can the VictoryVest enhance existing exercise?
By being able to isolate a given muscle within the larger exercise, you can bring up lagging muscle groups that otherwise will not get worked from the exercise you’re doing.
Also the vest distributes the pull of the bands over your entire torso, unlike a barbell digging into your shoulders. So you can put more resistance on your body with the vest without the sheer discomfort of merely adding weight to a bar.
- How can the VictoryVest work a muscle when other methods have failed?
Because each person’s body and mechanics can often dictate which muscles work the hardest to do a given exercise. This is why you can do an exercise that’s supposed to target a particular muscle, yet not feel it in that muscle. Because your leverages instead cause other muscles to work harder.
The most common example is the barbell back squat. Many people may not feel it at all in their glutes or even their quads, yet the back squat is so often recommended to work those muscles.
However if you use the VictoryVest, configure the bands to target the glutes and/or quads, and now get under the barbell and do back squats, you’ll feel it in your glutes and quads immediately!
- How is the VictoryVest better than regular weight vests?
Regular weight vests only pull downward on your torso.
The VictoryVest allows you to create and adjust different tensions to specific placed on your torso and attach them in any direction, to your own body or external objects. This means you can work all angles as well as isolate specific muscles and recreate practically all known exercises.
- What if I already have resistance bands?
Then you only need the Victory Vest — it works with and enhances pretty much all existing resistance bands. You may also want to consider our unique wrist and ankle straps, unless you already have straps that don’t slide up your arms and legs when under tension.
- What about workout plans?
The VictoryVest can be used with practically all existing workout routines. If you’re already exercising, you can add the VictoryVest to enhance what you’re already doing.
In addition we will also have specific workout routines and video guides exclusive for customers to choose from.
- What about Warranty and Return Policy?
We offer a LIFETIME warranty!
- What does "complimentary" carabiners mean?
Each VictoryVest comes with 6 carabiners to attach your bands to. These are free to our customers to get you started, but also won’t be replaced if you lose them. This is because you can actually use most any carabiner with your VictoryVest, so long as it’s large enough to hold the bands and has a smooth surface. So the complimentary carabiners are there to help you get started. Keep in mind, you’ll typically only ever need 2 carabiners at any given time or exercise, either on the vest or the door anchors. So by getting 6 carabiners per vest, you’re effectively getting 4 backups on top of the 2 to get started!
Be careful — if you do use commercial carabiners with ‘locks’ and rough surfaces they may damage your vest or bands, and void the warranty and negate return options.
